Craft Cheats Beautiful Beaded Napkin Rings

Preparation
  1. Choose one of the colour combinations from our beautiful collection of pre-beaded wires. These cheap & cheerful pre-beaded wires can be used as bag handles, curtain tiebacks, jewellery… the choice is yours!
  2. Choose any ribbon that is approximately 7mm wide. Cut ribbon to approx 30cm
Start
  1. Bend the wire twice round into a circle so that the end loops are in line with each other with one small matte gold bead in-between
  2. Using a pair of round nosed pliers, slightly open the end loops out enough to easily thread through your ribbon of choice
  3. Thread the ribbon upwards through the bottom loop over the back of the matt gold bead. Then bring the ribbon down over the front & twist back around the reverse of the bead & then up again through the top loop
  4. Bring the ends of the ribbon together at the front of your napkin ring & tie into a decorative bow. Snip the ends of the ribbon to tidy up any fraying
Tip: I have teamed together complimentary ribbons to match the colour of the beads. You could try using contrasting colours for a whole different effect. Red ribbon on green beaded napkin rings would look fab on the Xmas table!

How To Make A Frozen Inspired Christmas Bauble

A Show Stopping Ornament For Your Tree Or Something Special For The Little Princess in Your Life

Preparation:

  1. Slide a selection of beads and sequins onto silver head pins. Change the embellishment combinations on each pin to create extra interest.
  2. Ensure that you create some smaller bead combinations to fill in the gaps.
  3. Try and keep the tones and colours similar for an overall sophisticated look. I have chosen mainly ice blues and whites with hints of silver from the crystal diamanté and snowflake sequins.

Guide:

  1. For the diamanté centrepiece simply use one half of the diamanté crystal clasp JR04869.
  2. Loop 3mm ribbon around the centre and hide the knot behind the base.
  3. Spot a little bit of glue on the shank back and using a polystyrene ball as the base, sink it into the polystyrene surface of the ball.
  4. Now, simply push the decorated beaded head pins securely into the remaining surface area. For added security, spot a little glue on the bottom bead of each pin.

The Final Show Stopper... Fit For
Any Snow Queen!

Top Tip: If you wish to create a distinct
pattern, draw the shape on the ball with
a felt tip pen and follow as a guide.
